Let's Dance!

October 13, 2015 - First United Methodist Church, Grapevine, 7:30 pm

Schola opens its 53rd season with a concert of music celebrating the dance, featuring Brahms' tender Liebeslieder Waltzes, PDQ Bach's hilarious Liebeslieder Polkas and dances from the USA, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, and Venezuela.

Winds of Christmas

Dec. 13, 2015 - Dallas City Performance Hall, Dallas Arts District, 3 pm

Many of our patrons tell us their Christmas season doesn't officially begin until the Schola concerts! Join us this year for Home for the Holidays (music by CL Bass, Jonathan Dove, John Gardner, Gustav Holst, Mack Wilberg, and Stephen Paulus), as well as audience sing-alongs. Then join us in the Dallas Arts District as we join with the Lone Star Wind Symphony for a concert of thrilling music for wind band and choir.


Songs for Lovers

February 14, 2016 - Kimbell Art Museum, Piano Pavilion, 3:00 pm

Bring your sweetheart for chocolates, roses, a cash bar, and Music for Lovers as the Schola Chamber Choir sings music ranging from Renaissance madrigals to vocal jazz from you, your parents, and maybe even your grandparents!


MLK Black History Month Performance

February 21, 2016 - TBD, 3:00 pm

Schola will join other local choirs for a free concert celebrating Martin Luther King and Black History Month, focusing on the African American Spiritual.


Cathedral Classics

April 10, 2016 - First United Methodist Church, Grapevine, 3:00 pm

April 11, 2016 - Arborlawn United Methodist Church, 7:30 pm

We close our season with the return of Schola's popular Cathedral Echoes series featuring choral/orchestral performances of Bach's Magnificat, Mozart's Missa Brevis in C Major (Sparrow Mass), and Shubert's Mass in G Major.
