Fast Facts:
 

Artistic Director: Laura Farnell currently works with and judges choirs across the state in addition to writing choral music for developing choirs. She has ten years of prior teaching experience as a JH choir director in Arlington ISD and as an elementary music teacher in Mansfield ISD.

Chorus Member Age: Students Entering 4th, 5th, & 6th Grade.

 
Qualifications: Interest in vocal music, a good sense of pitch, and a commitment to regular attendance at rehearsals and performances (school and religious music conflicts are always excused).
 
Audition style: Auditions are fun, interactive, and supportive and will last 5-10 minutes. They may include pitch matching, rhythmic exercises and singing a familiar song. Vocal range will be assessed as well as voice timbre.
 
Rehearsals: Tuesdays from 6:30PM-8PM throughout the school year.
 
Tuition: $200 for the 2011-2012 season. Need-based tuition assistance is available for qualified students.
