Choral Music Excellence

Schola Cantorum of Texas, directed by Dr. Jerry McCoy, is the premier choral music performing group in North Texas. Since our founding in 1962, we have performed hundreds of concerts to critical acclaim across the United States and Europe

Schola is known for a rich, sonorous sound and dedication to honoring the heritage of traditional and contemporary choral music. We perform regularly throughout Tarrant County and the Fort Worth/Dallas Metroplex in our own concerts and with noted groups including the Texas Ballet Theater, the Dallas Wind Symphony, Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and the Schola Festival Orchestra.

Sing With Schola

We invite singers to audition to join the ranks of more than 600 talented vocalists who have been part of Schola Cantorum of Texas in our 47-year history. More than one-third of our members are choir directors and music teachers; many are music majors now working in other professions; all are accomplished choral music performers.
